  • The 11 locks and dams on the Muskingum River were built between 1836 and 1841, and most are still in use today.

• Tour the Stockport Mill Inn. 

  • The Stockport Mill was built in 1906-1907

  • It was restored and turned into a hotel in 2000.

  • It has two hydroelectric generators in the basement that still provide power for the inn, and they sell the excess power to the grid.

• Visit the shops in downtown Marietta

  • Enjoy Downtown Marietta and eat lunch on your own.

  • Visit the Historic Lafayette Hotel

  • Walk across the Pivot Bridge

  • Shop at several unique boutiques

• Take the Valley Gem Sternwheel River boat through Lock #2 on the Muskingum River. Only on Friday Trips. Sightseeing on the Ohio River on other days of the week.

  • 290 passenger Sternwheel River Boat.

  • Air conditioned, snack bar, and restrooms on board.
