Explore the workings of one of the only original hand operated navigational locks left in the USA.
The Muskingum River Parkway is on the National Register of Historic Places.
The 11 locks and dams on the Muskingum River were built between 1836 and 1841, and most are still in use today.
Tour the Stockport Mill Inn.
The Stockport Mill was built in 1906-1907
It was restored and turned into a hotel in 2000.
It has two hydroelectric generators in the basement that still provide power for the inn, and they sell the excess power to the grid.

The Stockport mill has 4 floors to explore, but lots can be seen from the ground floor.
Walking a minimum of a half mile and a maximum of 2 miles, depending on how much you want to explore downtown Marietta.
